So Long Chuck I Will Miss You
Chuck Swirsky has resigned from the Toronto Raptors as T.V play by play man. He is taking a job as the Bulls Radio Play by Play man. Here is a link to the Story:
As some of you know I have had a minor relationship with Chuck in his time in Toronto so I am sad to see him go and wish him the best in Chicago. Swirsky said on his Fan 590 radio show he made this choice with a heavy heart and for family reasons. He hoped that fans would respect his right to keep these issues private. It is the end of an era in Raptors Basketball. I have in past had issues with Chuck as a broadcaster from time to time but have always found him to be a quality human being. His leaving is a real shock and I am sure when I have a chance to think longer on this I will share my thoughts with you all. But for now I just want to say so long Chuck and thanks for your work on behalf of Raptor fans that love you.
I invite you to read the next blog where I talk more on this topic. I also had a blog already written for today which you can find right below that. It includes the latest Bosh video of Blane Harrington. I enjoyed it good for a laugh. For some that are fans of Chuck they may need one.
I have also added a Quote from Chuck’s long time partner Jack Armstrong. Regular readers of this blog will recall Jack was kind enough to do an interview with this blog and was kind enough to provide a Quote on Chuck. I thank him on behalf of my readers. You can find this quote in the next blog.

What the Chuck is going on??? The Swirsk is the man. Hope they get someone close to as good to replace him.
Not Eric Smith or Rod Black !!

Well I have a great relationship with Eric as some of you all know so if he got the Job I’d be happy for him. My personal opinion on a replacement would be Mark Jones ( Brother of Paul Jones ) He started his career at TSN and is a fine broadcaster. Likely to exspensive but he would be my first choice.
Sad to see Chuck Go though. So I think we have pleanty of time to find a good replacement
