The Toronto Raptors ended the T.J vs Jose debated with the trade of Ford to the Pacers. So now they will have a new back-up point guard and his name is Roko Ukic. Ukic is a leftover from the Rob Babcock Era and has been playing over in Europe since being drafted by Babcock in the same year he selected Charlie V, Joey Graham and Uros Slokar. Roko played against the Raptors as part of the EuroLive tour last season and will be in action this Friday playing against the country he will be coming to in Canada. The deal is said for three years. So finally Roko Ukic is coming to Toronto. This deal has been rumoured for a long time but was just officially announced today by the Raptors. You can see Roko in action vs Canada on the Score at 6am and 10pm on Friday. Roko has been playing in the Olympic Qualfiying Tournment playing for Croatia. He scored 12 points in a win that advanced them to the Quarter-Finals to face Canada. Raptors will resume Summer league action tommorow as well.
