A New Era For Dino Nation Blog

I am pleased to announce that the Dino Nation Blog has now purchased the rights to the .com name. So for the folks that have already found the Dino Nation Blog it will not mean much. You can still find the site the same way that you have. But now there is a easier way for new folks to find us.

This blog in the short time it has been around has been able to do a lot of things. Some of them just recently. I never could have imagined that it would grow to the levels it has. Even to the point we have the odd person that is not happy with it. But for the most part so many of you enjoy the content that I have been trying to provide you since late last year. The support of people is much larger and that is fantastic.

I am the first to admit what is done here is not perfect. But that being said I think there is a lot of amazing content that I have been able to provide Raptor Fans. It is in part do to the work that I invest into it. But it is also thanks to the many people that have helped out along the way. The guests I have, the loyal readers that have been here and keep coming back. Not to mention all the great sites that list the Dino Nation Blog on the sites they have.

I want to thank everyone that has taken the time to read the Dino Nation Blog and be supportive of it. I hope it will only grow and improve as it goes forward. In a sense I signed a two year contract with myself to ensure the Dino Nation Blog will remain up and running for that time. But I hope it lasts well beyond that.

I am always learning and growing from it each and everyday. The goal when all this started was to share my views and opinions on the Toronto Raptors. But not only mine but to seek out others that are able to help everyone gain more info and opinions on the Raptors as well. I even sometimes am able to give you some info you may not have known. But I most wanted to create a community for Raptor fans that they could feel a part of. I view this as more than just something I write each day and invest my time in. I look at it as a family for Raptor Fans to be a part of. It would be great if that turns into things for me personally. But if that does happen I will not forget all the people that helped me get to where I and this blog could end up in the future.  

It has already been places I never could have imagined, Raptors.com, Georgetown Hoyas Sites and talking with people In Australia. Those are a few of the examples of where it has gone. In the future I have no idea. But whatever that will be I am looking forward to it.

When I started this blog it was a last chance to keep my dreams alive of working in the media and covering the sport I love in Basketball. It has been a fun experience and I enjoy it so much. I have enjoyed getting to know readers and Raptor fans and it has just been something that I can not tell you how much it has meant to me.

Life had dealt me some very rough cards and I have done the best I can with the hand I have been given. I want to say to anyone that happens to be reading this, don’t every give up on things and no matter what follow your dreams and never let them die. That is what I am trying to do here beyond everything else I have said. I never go to deep into my personal life but some readers and friends know my circumstances. But I want people to come here for what I am doing and not based on anything beyond that.

This has been a record month for the Dino Nation Blog in the number of people that have made there way to this site. I hope it continues to climb and grow. So thanks to all of the folks that have made this a part of your day. I am humbled to know that so many people have taken an interest in what I am doing.

We will get back to the normal stuff I do tomorrow. But I wanted to mark this event as I think it is a pretty big deal. It also is a great way to thank all the folks like you that stop by the Blog.
