Thanks for all the comments folks. It will be interesting to watch this season. The Addition of O’Neal should have a very positive effect on Chris Bosh. I wrote this to get others opinions as much as to express my own. I think the chance of Bosh getting to that next level is very real. Will that make him a MVP Candidate? I honestly do not know. But with the added attention of being on U.S Olympic team will make a lot of U.S Media take notice of him should he have a career type season and thus I think could get his name in the MVP Conversation. Maybe not win it but in the conversation. Vince Carter never has been in that conversation so that alone is something. I think by the end of this season what Chris will be is the undisputed greatest Raptor ever. Sorry Vince but Bosh is now better than you. Like Vince Carter reads this blog…LOL

Interesting enough JB. I don’t believe Bosh is a mega star or really ever get to that level. Garnett.. Malone.. Duncan.. those are/were PF mega stars in my opinion. Bosh is an All-Star and there is nothing wrong with that, he still hasn’t led the Raps to a playoff series victory.

I think Bosh is good enough to be an important piece to a Championship team.. a good enough player to gain some votes on a MVP ballot.. but I don’t think he ever reach the status of the above examples I’ve given.

I think Bosh can become an MVP within the next year or so if he and the Raptors do a good job

I wouldn’t say Bosh is better than I thought …… but I would say he’s a heck of a lot better than he’s given credit for around the league and from the media.

I consider Bosh a notch below an MVP candidate
Currently performing at that All-Pro level
Above All-Star status
