It has been a busy week for all connected to the Toronto Raptors. Here at the Dino Nation Blog we have had a couple of great interviews with Aaron Fearne and Jack Armstrong. But today was about seeing the Raptors hit the floor and giving some thanks to the people in Ottawa by having the Annual Inter Squad Game. There was no T.V or Radio coverage of this. But our man Eric Smith of Fan 590 was live blogging at the event from the Ravens Nest at Carleton U. Also, Matt Devlin was there getting some good stuff for the folks at Raptors.com. I was taking part in Eric’s live blog adding the odd bit of humour and info. Here is links to it all to check out.

Kudos to Eric and Matt for giving us some great stuff from up in Ottawa this week. Also those in the blogging community have been doing good things as well. I have to say that Raptor fans are very luck to have so many folks doing so much to get you information it is really a great thing for anyone who is just a fan. The game itself and who won or lost doesn’t matter much it is more about the games starting on Tuesday vs the Cavs.
Even Raptor Fans are doing cool stuff. Last week I showed you that fantastic schedule made by a reader of the Dino Nation Blog. Well I have for you something of a music video of sorts made by “Chi of Steel” who is a regular poster. He has taken the song Getto Superstar and Raptorized it. Check it out:
Next time the Dino Nation Blog wants a line Chi!!! But it isn’t bad it’s got a beat. More important than all of that it got the song from that annoying Discover Channel ad out of my head. So Thank You.
Monday Night Raptors!!!
I have not had a chat night in awhile and I miss you good folks of the Dino Nation. So on the eve of the Raptors first pre-season game let’s get together and talk some Raptors Basketball. I will be in the house in our Chat Room at about 7:30 pm on Monday night so if you want to come join me you are welcome too. I will also be talking about our Fantasy Leagues. I will be there to answer your questions and lead the discussion but it will be made better by a bunch of you showing up to be part of it. I welcome folks new to the blog to come be a part of the chat too. I am trying to build a community beyond just a blog that you read and the chats and interacting with all of you is how that happens. It is a great way to have a chat with people that love the Raptors as much as you do. So come out the room holds 100 people so we have lots of room.
